I have been playing the fiddle for over 30 years and have been teaching it for over a decade. As a child I was classically trained on the violin, and I started to learn traditional fiddling as a young teenager. I have taught students of all ages between seven and seventy, and also have extensive teaching experience in areas other than music. The bands that I have played with include:

• Wedding ceilidh bands including Bobbing Joe and Bellamira (my current ceilidh bands), Cadellin, The Last Drop and Big Deal
  
• Minnie Moosika and the Bellhagg Orchestra (Klezmer festival bands)
• Tashbain (Klezmer storytelling band)
• Hiraeth (A band playing Welsh and English songs and tunes)
